| Bhumika Chawla set to make her Malayalam debut

Earlier attempts by Mollywood to rope in the heroine with elfin charm had failed to yield the desired results,
but now it is confirmed. The news is that Bollywood beauty Bhumika Chawla will make her maiden appearance in Malayalam, too.
Bhumika is already very popular in Telugu and Tamil film world, according to the grapevine.
Bhumika played a delightful cameo in the Tamil film with Surya in the male lead, ‘Jillendru Oru Kathal’ and won critical acclaim for her dignified performance.
Now, her debut vehicle in Mollywood is the Malayalam version of the Telugu superhit, ‘Anasuya’.

‘Anasuya’ is a suspense thriller scripted and directed by Telugu hero Ravi Babu. The story is said to draw inspiration from the Hollywood flick, ‘The Silence Of The Lambs’.
In the movie, Bhumika plays a TV channel reporter who is out to resolve the mystery behind a series of murders.
The film is expected to hit the theatres in Kerala by the end of April, says the reports from Mollywood.
