Move over desi girls, ‘cos the videsi gals are here to create waves in films down south as well as in B’town. American actress Linda Arsenio was seen in the recent Telugu film Kedi and the Malayalam film Pazhassi Raja. Model Kate Elizabeth Hallam has been signed for Sandalwood venture Udyan Express, and Claudia Ciesla for Private Number.
Recent release Kites introduced us to Mexican actress Barbara Mori, and we’ve all seen Ranbir Kapoor romancing Sarah Thompson (of Cruel Intentions fame) in the upcoming Raajneeti. South African model Shella Alan is also said to be making her Bolly debut in Mohit Suri-directed Crook.

Desi actresses are thrilled with this development, and are all for it.
