| Madhu-Sheela to repeat ‘Chemmeen' act

If you are to find the best love pairs on screen from the entire history of Malayalam cinema, it may not be a surprise, if majority opt for veterans Madhu and Sheela for their performance in ‘Chemmeen’.
The portrayal of Parreekutty and Karuthamma from the classic film of the sixties had then become the best success in the Mollywood history that even the newest generation finds the movie, dialogues and the acting, too interesting.
Anyway after forty five years from the original release of the movie, both Madhu and Sheela are going to repeat the ‘Chemmeen’ act for a new film. The movie titled 'Perumal' directed by Prasad Valancheril will feature the senior actors again in the same roles in which they had fared the best.

The movie which is planned to start next month at Kottayam will also feature Jagathy, Babu Antony and Lal, in prominent roles. The details about the storylines and other lead casts are awaited.
Even though the movie has been officially announced, it will be a tough task for the creators to bring in Sheela for the movie on the said dates as she is presently at U S.
The last time the 75 year old actress and 63 year old actress were seen together was for the movie 'Thaskaraveeran', in which Mammootty donned the title character.
