Prabhudeva - Nayantara couple's romance has been a hot topic to talk on for tamil film audience for more than a year.
The latest buzz is that Prabhudeva and Nayanthara have exchanged flower garland in the presence of Prabhu Deva's parents at their residence in Chennai Alwarpet.
Prabhudeva's father Choreographer Sundaram, mother Mahadevamma and younger brother Nagendhra Babu have been living in the house.
According to leading Tamil magazine Naakeeran, 4 priests conducted a special 4 hour Yagam at Sundaram masters residence from 10:30 A.M to 2:30 P.M.
Prabhudeva and Nayantara couple attended the pooja along with Prabhu's parents.
Reportedly, the couple had exchanged Maalai like bride and bride-groom with the priests chanting the Mantra and the pair were showered with flower petals and yellow rice(Aksathai) in the gesture of blessing them.
Only a very few close relatives to choreographer Sundaram were present during the ceremony.
According to hindu religion, the exchange of garlands or Maalai Mattral between a Man and Woman indicates the commencement of family life in which two hearts are united.
