| ‘Currency’ and ‘Black Dahlia’ opens today

Two different films opened in Mollywood Box Office today (Friday), with interesting responses. Swathy Bhaskar's multi starrer ‘Currency’ - a dark thriller opened in 45 centres. The movie feature Jayasuriya, Kalabhavan Mani - Mukesh trio in the lead, while Meera Nandan is the heroine of the movie. The movie carries interesting preview reports and promise to be a different endeavor.
‘Black Dahlia’, directed by actor Adv Baburaj, is an investigative action thriller, with Vani Viswanath donning the Central character of the investigator. Suresh Gopi also appear in a cameo in the movie which feature a dozen young artists as campus students.

Meanwhile, Dileep - Sreenivasan combo's ‘Passenger’ which was released yesterday, has opened to seventy percent collections in the two evening shows of its first day, even though it was a harthal day. The movie is opined as a taut thriller by the first day audience. It seems that the movie needs badly - a marketing face lift to cashing, the good word of mouth that it has, on the initial days.
