M Padhmakumar is the director of the film and this was the first time that he was going to work with Mammooty. Initially, Nayantara also agreed to star in the film, but now there are talks that she wouldn't be able to due to callsheet problems.         Now comes the bigger surprise. According to the story, there is no heroine at all for Mammooty! The film was delayed for various reasons. This time around, full-fledged shooting will commence. Padhmakumar was jubilant because his very first superstar film would also star the No 1 heroine in south India. But he says that the fact that Nayantara has walked out of the film isn't going to affect the film in any way. Nayantara right now is busy with two films- 'Kuchelan' with Rajinikanth and 'Ekan' with Ajith.
