Parvathy Omanakuttan, Femina Miss India World in 2008 who later became the first runner-up at the Miss World 2008 competition, debuted in films last year with director Vishal Aryan Singh's Bollywood film United Six, followed by army officer-turned-filmmaker Major Ravi's Malayalam flick Madan Kolli.
According to latest reports, the beauty queen is all set to step into Kollywood with young Malayalam director Nithin Ramakrishnan's debut Tamil venture Uma Maheswaram. Notably, Nithin Ramakrishnan created history last year by directing a Malayalam film Apoorva when he was just 17.
