Malayalam television channels are in no mood to lose a big film because of price. Films
starring the super stars like Mammootty and Mohanlal fetch a huge price considering the size
of the territories.
The highest price paid for the television rights of a movie so far was 2.86 crores. That was
for T20 paid by Surya TV. Now another Mohanlal film has broken that record and set a new
record.
