| Electra progressing in Kochi

Nayantara's forthcoming offbeat Malayalam film Electra, being directed by National award
winning director Shayamaprasad is progressing at a brisk pace in and around Kochi and
Alapuzha.
In fact, Electra is Nayantara's comeback movie to realistic cinema after her debut films
Manassinakkare (2003) and Rappakal (2005).

"I am so happy that I got to do something different at a point where I was only concentrating of pucca commercial potboilers. I cannot talk anything about my role as we have just started the film. But I have totally got into the skin of Electra, the character I play in the film. The unit is young, vibrant and cool and I have lot of positive vibes about the film," Nayantara said at the shooting location.
Electra has National award winner Prakashraj and Manisha Koirala playing Nayantara's parents. Sanu John Varghese, who recently did Karthik Calling Karthik, is the cinematographer.
