The entertainment division of Moser Baer will soon churn out films in Malayalam. The production gurus who entered Bollywood and Kollywood a couple of years back are now making a foray into Malayalam and widening their prospects in Kerala.
Moser Baer will be producing two films consecutively. The first one to see daylight would be a Jayaram starer that will be directed by Akku Akbar and written by Gireesh Kumar. This is the same team that gave out the blockbuster ‘Verudhe Oru Baarya’. In this film Padmapriya will be replacing Gopika. The film is slated for a Ramadhan release.
The second film in queue will be a Mammootty flick that has been titled ‘Loud Speaker’. The film will be directed by Jayaraj. The film is sure to be a mass entertainer with Mammootty playing a very distinct comical role. He will be seen essaying the character of Mike Gopalan who speaks too loud. ‘Loud Speaker’ will be a Christmas release.
