Lemon
Custard
Method:
Make a thick custard by adding 3 tbspoon
of custard powder to 1 litre of boiling milk. Keep stirring and see
to it that the custard forms no lumps and that it does not stick to
the pan. Leave it to cool. Add the juice of six lemons to the custard
and 2 tbs of sugar. Stir and refrigerate. This serves as a good dessert
if you are partial to the taste of lemon. Note: Make sure that you
add the lemon juice only after the custard has cooled thoroughly,
else the milk will curdle!!
