Mughalai Mutton Curry

Ingredients & Preparation

500gms mutton cut up as desired and mixed with the following ingredients. 1 large onion, minced finely.
1 tbsp of ground corianders.
1 heaped teaspoonful of ground turmeric.
1/2 tsp of ground cummin seed.
1/2 tsp of pepper powder
6 thin slices of green ginger
2 fresh green chillies chopped finely a pinch of ground chillies.
1 dessertspoonful of freshly dessicated coconut.

Fry lightly in 50 gms ghee or other fat for3 or 4 mins ,1 onion and a clove of garlic, finely minced then add the meat mixed in the curry ing as above.cook on slow fire ,and then add 1/2 cupof water. simmer gently. with a pan covered,until the meat is tender .10mins before serving,add salt to taste and 1/2 a teacupful of thick coconut milk . serve hot
